The Second book of Psalms (chapters 42-72)
Starting prayer:
Our heavenly father, in the name of Jesus Christ we are grateful for yet another day and all the good works you're doing in our lives. We ask for forgiveness for any guile in our lives a betterment of our lives as we walk with you.
Reading :
Psalm 69
Snapshot :
This chapter talks about a cry for help, written by King David. It shows a deep and sincere surrender of the writer's problems to God, not portraying himself overtly capable to handle his situations, even though there seem to be some that he decide to use his energy on (see vs. 1-12). We can also learn that no matter what the battles are in any aspect of our lives that we're facing, we can always call on to God for help, He's sovereign and more than capable to help us. (see verses 13 -29). God delights in helping his nation, his people, whom he has called according to his purpose, his delight is in our well being. As we praise and wait on his help, he always sees us through and bring our enemies to shame! (see vs 30-36)
Prayer on ending:
In the name of Jesus Christ, We bring our prayer of gratitude to you Abba father for a successful study of your word, we pray that you manifest in our lives, that of others, our nation and the world in every way necessary to make our existence worthwhile. Help us to live humbly, rely on you and still be capable in our lives and always remember to praise you in all things.
Amen!
